Hello hello! I’m Olivia Kairu, a Copywriter and Journalist.

Having done the bulk of my growing up in Nairobi, Kenya, I moved all the way to Toronto, Canada, to pursue my further education, and the next bit of my growing up. I received an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Minor in Philosophy, Ethics, and Law from the University of Toronto.

In between gruelling classes, spirited discussions, very long essays on the world’s happenings, and the many thinkers who debated questions that tend to yield to existential crises, I covered the 2021-2023 Formula One seasons for the university newspaper, The Varsity, and a Canadian motorsport website.

Now, as a Copywriter at DEPT®, I have had the privilege of gaining vast experience and contributing to multiple accounts such as Uber, eBay, and Turo.

In addition, I have continued to cover the Formula One, IndyCar, and World Rally Championship seasons as they come and go. Make sure to have a read 🏁.
